Job & Company Description:
6-month Project - A JSE-Listed company based in Johannesburg North is eagerly seeking the skills of a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with proficient experience in drafting accounting policies and guidelines.
The successful incumbent for the role will work closely with various teams within the group space to successfully draft a full accounting manual for the group. This is an important project for a company of this size as the information provided in this manual will be utilised by many within the company and will be a great learning toolkit for any future employees that may join the business.
Working on a special project like this is an opportunity to gain valuable exposure and the ability to get unique experience under the belt. Completing this project requires a technically inclined CA(SA) with an eye for the finer details.
Minimum Requirements: (Non-Negotiable)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA
- Min 2-3 years' post articles experience
- Applicants for this role must have experience drafting accounting policies and updating guidelines, ideally within a large organisation
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and engage with other teams
- Ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand script
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
