Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification
Completed South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles
Previous working experience involving International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17) is highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

Preparing financial statements, financial reports, and accounting information including billings, accounts receivable, and/or general ledgers
Ensuring that financial books are accurately prepared and regularly maintained
Facilitate credit control and/or internal control processes and procedures
Ensuring compliance with relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 17
Assisting with the successful completion of ad hoc activities and projects identified and/or initiated by management
