POSITION INFO:

A growing company operating in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to join their team as an Accountant. If you are the ideal for this vacancy, please apply!

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification
• Completed South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles
• Previous working experience involving International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17) is highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

• Preparing financial statements, financial reports, and accounting information including billings, accounts receivable, and/or general ledgers
• Ensuring that financial books are accurately prepared and regularly maintained
• Facilitate credit control and/or internal control processes and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 17
• Assisting with the successful completion of ad hoc activities and projects identified and/or initiated by management
