POSITION INFO:

Our client based in Port Elizabeth is looking for an experienced Financial Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Accounts Receivable.
• Conduct credit checks on new customers.
• Reconcile month-end accounts.
• Perform monthly sales reconciliation.
• Manage cut-off requirements for accurate invoicing.
• Prepare and present a monthly debtors age analysis.
• Ensure that controls supporting accounts receivable are adhered to at all times.
• Balance, reconcile and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Analyse cost control and provide timely and frequent financial information for reporting purposes.
• Forecasting of Revenue and Margin Secured Volumes.
• Generating and uploading Annual Operating Plans.
• Oversee Inventory and all transactional issues related to Inventory, stock takes; write offs etc.
• Updating Outlooks weekly.
• Liaising with departments to ensure financial departmental targets are met timeously.
• Execute other financial duties as required.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Tertiary Qualification – Financial Accounting/Financial Management
• Three years working experience in accounts receivable, general ledger
• Comprehensive knowledge of - Accounting principles, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger postings and invoicing.
• Sound knowledge and proficiency in - Sage Pastel Accounting, Microsoft Office, Excel, Job-Sys
