JOB SUMMARY:
Do you have minimum ten years experience managing the overall debtors, creditors, invoicing, wages, orders and administration function?
 
Our National Client specialising in manufacturing is requiring a solid all rounder who will be involved in this varied position reporting to the Financial department at Head Office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, relevant qualification highly advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing company highly advangeous
  • Strong administration, debtors, creditors and wages skills
  • Excellent communication, written and spoken in both Afrikaans and English
  • Self managed with excellent accuracy and attention to details skills

DUTIES
  • Managing general administration duties including debtors and creditors
  • Answering of incoming calls to the Branch.
  • Assist Customers with orders and queries.
  • Assist the Sales Team with calls , e-mails and correspondence to Customers.
  • Check pod’s on a daily basis and file accordingly.
  • File truck checking schedules and daily trip sheets.
  • Wages – Pay Weekly wages on VIP and check that all returns are allocated correctly to the Furniture Bargaining Council.
  • Ensure that all payslips are correct and handed out to all the employees.
  • Checking of payments daily on bank statements
  • Approval of all COD purchases after the payments have been checked and confirmed with Head Office
  • Follow up on payments with 30-day account customers
  • Assist Customers with reconciliations on their accounts
  • Send through payment advises to Head office and allocate discounts
  • Deal with bad debtors on a daily basis – phone calls and e-mails
  • Write out formal orders and send through to Suppliers
  • Follow up on all outstanding orders and confirm eta of orders
  • Send all invoices with GRV’S down to Head Office for payments
  • Check all pricing on invoices from suppliers and keep pricelists updated
  • Check stock levels with manager to ensure that there is no stock shortages

Salary: R18000 dependent on experience
