SUMMARY:
Our client, a national manufacturing company currently seeks a confident, self-managed Finance Administrator to conduct Debtors accounting analysis and administration, thereby assisting in the management of key DebtorsÃ¢Â€Â™ indices.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Degree or National Diploma in Finance essential.
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial processes and practices relating to effective debtors’ management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal controls across the business operations.
Prepare and submit all debtors’ sales financial reporting timeously.
Manage debtor’s profiles and ensure debtor master data is maintained accurately at all times.
Perform ongoing analysis of debtors’ accounts to highlight discrepancies and assist in remedial action.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within the business operations to collate debtors’ information and assist to resolve all account queries to drive effective debt collection. Meet regularly with Financial Controllers at plant level to work through overdue debt and setting up actions to recover funds.
Costing – ensure accurate and timeous updates of Forex adjustments and selling price increases in the system.
Cash management - prepare cash forecasts.
Contribute to effective credit risk management practices and mitigation thereof.
