POSITION INFO:

Internal Controls
Ensure accurate reconciliation across payment channels
Automate reconciliation processes
Maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance
Financial Reporting
Oversee financial reporting cycles
Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights for decision-making
Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow and banking relationships
Develop and implement funding strategies to maintain liquidity and optimize costs
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Tax & Compliance
Ensure compliance with tax regulations across jurisdictions
Oversee tax filings and lead external audits
Additional Support
Assist with fundraising and investor relations
Support M&A activities and provide financial insights for strategic initiatives

Skills & Experience:
Registration with a professional body, such as CA(SA)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management role
Experience in the fintech industry is highly advantageous
Proven team management experience

Qualification:
CA(SA)
CFA is highly beneficial
