POSITION INFO:
Are you a seasoned finance professional with a sharp eye for detail, a strong grasp of tax, and a passion for process improvement? Join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of the technology retail sector, where innovation meets financial precision. Our client, a fast-growing and dynamic player in the tech retail space, is looking for a results-driven Financial Controller to take ownership of financial operations and drive strategic improvements across systems and reporting processes.

Duties:

Overseeing the full financial function, including monthly reporting, reconciliations, and compliance
Managing and reviewing tax submissions (VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax) and ensuring full SARS compliance
Leading system and process optimisation projects across finance and related departments
Developing internal controls and ensuring adherence to accounting standards
Supporting executive leadership with financial insights and decision-making tools
Managing working capital and cash flow forecasting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- Qualified CA(SA)
Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in a commercial finance environment (retail or tech industry exposure advantageous)
- Strong understanding of South African tax legislation
