Financial Controller

SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced finance professional ready to take ownership of end-to-end financial operations? We’re seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Transactional Finance Team and ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient processes across both local and international entities.

POSITION INFO:

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining transactional finance oversight with technical support for management accounts. You’ll manage AR and AP processes, oversee tax and VAT compliance, and deliver accurate monthly accounts, while also mentoring and developing a finance team.
Working in a hybrid model (office Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday & Friday), this position offers both flexibility and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support the month-end close, ensuring ledgers are finalised within deadlines.
Prepare management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
Conduct overhead and variance analysis across multiple entities.
Oversee cash controls, payroll approvals, supplier payments, and fund allocations.
Manage local statutory compliance, tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and international VAT reclaims.
Lead and mentor the transactional finance team through structured reviews and training.
Drive process improvements and automation for stronger controls and efficiency.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum 3+ years in a senior financial operations role
Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, reconciliations, and controls
Experience with Transfer Pricing and International VAT Reclaims
Leadership and people management experience
Excellent communication skills across all seniority levels
Advanced MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
Detail-oriented with strong time management
Comfortable managing multiple priorities under pressure
Available to work in-office 3 days per week (Tue–Thu)
