Our client is seeking a Financial Controller to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys financial reporting, controls, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and providing meaningful insights to management. The successful candidate will oversee the finance function, ensure strong financial governance, manage reporting processes, and support strategic business decisions through accurate financial analysis and operational support. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the full finance function Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Manage budgeting and forecasting processes Prepare annual financial statements Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning Oversee month-end and year-end reporting processes Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders Drive improvements in financial controls and reporting processes Monitor operational costs and business performance Provide financial insights and recommendations to management Lead and develop finance team members Job Experience and Skills Required Education: BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification Completed SAICA Articles advantageous AGA(SA), SAIPA, or similar professional registration advantageous Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant finance experience Financial reporting and financial controls experience Budgeting and forecasting experience Audit exposure essential Team leadership or supervisory experience Experience within hospitality, tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, or operational environments advantageous Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel Financial Reporting Financial Controls IFRS Budgeting & Forecasting Financial Analysis Cash Flow Management Stakeholder Management Leadership & Team Development Why Apply?
