YOUR ROLE

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Controller, the Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity and authenticity of core company Financials ensuring robust financial controls and adherence to statutory and corporate requirements. In this role, the Financial Controller will be accountable for the effective operation of many aspects of finance including statutory accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, financial planning, analysis, and payroll.  As well as inspire a team to produce timely and accurate information, partners with the business to enable informed decision making for the company.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Deep knowledge and Good understanding of Accounting, Finance, and Reporting activities with a minimum of 8 years of Financial experience, ideally in an FMCG environment.
• Working knowledge of Accounting Policies, Standards, and Tax Regulations, and Auditory requirements are critical.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce required
• Postgraduate Accounting qualification of CA or CPA required.
• Experienced Finance leader with an understanding of what it takes to lead a Financial Accounting & Reporting service line in a multi-national corporation.
• Should have experience in partnering with an executive team and reporting to management and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience in transformation projects in business operations.
• Should have experience in supporting reporting, operational, and business change initiatives.
