POSITION INFO:
About the Role:
This is a senior finance role reporting directly to the Group Financial Manager. You’ll take full responsibility for overseeing all financial management activities across several companies within the group. From compliance and reporting to audits and budgeting, your role will be central to maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full financial control function across the group
- Ensure compliance with all financial, statutory, and audit requirements
- Oversee timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtors, creditors, and inter-company
- Maintain and enforce robust financial policies and procedures
- Produce high-quality annual financial statements in line with local regulations
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial packs for senior stakeholders
- Collaborate on annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Deliver monthly cash flow forecasts and ensure effective cash management
- Monitor actuals against budgets and recommend corrective action where needed
- Assist with provisional and year-end tax calculations
- Step in for ad hoc financial tasks or support when needed
What We’re Looking For:- A relevant finance qualification — CA(SA) preferred
- 0-1 years post-articles experience
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, solve problems, and drive efficiency in reporting
- Bonus if you’ve worked in the property, real estate, or related sectors
