Financial Manager – Woodmead

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skills Required:

ØPastel Partner / Evolution “non-negotiable”.

ØAdvance Excel “non-negotiable”.

ØCashbook experience.

ØDebtors and Creditor experience.

ØBookkeeping up to Balance Sheet.

ØBalance sheet recons and preparation for annual audits.

ØStrong analytical and reconciliation skills.

ØProblem solving skills and ability to make decisions.

ØPayroll experience.

ØStock management experience.

ØExperience dealing with multiple currencies and foreign creditors.

ØAt least 2 years’ experience in a management role.

ØKnowledge of ethical accounting practices and ensure they are adhered to.

ØShould have good oral and written communication skills.

ØAbility to efficiently lead, delegate and motivate subordinates.

ØAbility to work fast and accurate in high pressure and deadline driven environment.

ØAbility to manage and mentor subordinates.

ØAbility to work independent without management supervision.

ØAbility to work in a team.

ØAttention to detail.

Pre-requisites:

ØTertiary or equivalent.

ØCompleted articles will be an added advantage.

ØClean ITC check.

ØClean criminal check.

ØSigning of the company’s confidentiality agreement.

Ø

Duties:

ØBasic duties include but are not limited to full debtors’, creditors’, bookkeeping and financial management functions.

ØTo be discussed in detail @ interview.

Ø

Purpose:

ØManage stock on the sale of consumables / stock.

ØAccurate monthly reporting on financial performance on multiple companies.

ØManage financial team for multiple companies.

ØMaintaining of accurate financial records in Sage Evolution daily.

ØManage subordinates.

ØYearly budgets.

ØYearly Audits.

ØYearly BEE Audit.

ØAnalyse data.

ØPlanning and forecasting of stock.
