Our client, a global leader in the FMCG manufacturing sector headquartered in Johannesburg CBD, is seeking a Financial Manager to play a key role in their long-term growth journey.

POSITION INFO:
This is not a short-term opportunity as they are looking for a dedicated professional ready to invest in their future with a business renowned for its strong organisational culture, exceptional employee retention, and proven track record of success.

Duties:

Financial Stewardship – Manage the general ledger, prepare management accounts, and deliver accurate financial reporting
Group Consolidations & Currency Expertise – Lead consolidation processes and manage complex foreign currency transactions
Asset & Payables Oversight – Administer fixed asset accounting and supervise the accounts payable functions
Treasury & Risk Management – Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and insurance portfolios to optimise working capital
Strategic Financial Planning – Develop budgets, forecasts, and ensure the timely completion of internal and external audits
Leadership & Influence – Provide strategic input, lead a team effectively, and drive continuous improvement

Education and Experience:

CA(SA)
Minimum of 5 years post-articles experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication abilities

Skills:

Advanced MS Excel
Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and internal control frameworks
