Financial Manager

I’m working with a leading FMCG business that’s looking for a strong Financial Manager to take charge of one of their key divisions. This role offers full ownership of the accounting function, giving you the chance to really make your mark by driving compliance, accuracy, and meaningful financial insights for the business. POSITION INFO:

Oversee the full accounting function, including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, taxation, and statutory reporting
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory standards
Prepare and review audit packs, address audit queries, and manage the resolution of any findings
Manage cash flow forecasting and planning, covering both short-term and long-term requirements
Review and submit all statutory returns, including VAT and corporate tax calculations
Support and monitor BBBEE compliance and insurance processes, including associated reporting and audits
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team through structured performance management and ongoing coaching
Deliver clear, insightful financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, including KPI analysis and solvency assessments

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Financial Manager
JSE Listed entity experience post articles
Up-to-date IFRS knowledge
Consolidations experience
Working knowledge of SAP

Qualification:
CA(SA) Non-negotiable
