Are you a numbers wizard with a CA designation and a sharp eye for financial strategy? Do you thrive in fast-paced, highly regulated industries? We’re looking for a Financial Manager who’s ready to take the reins and drive financial excellence in the dynamic world of insurance.

POSITION INFO:
Financial Manager - JHB North

What You'll Do:

Lead the finance function with a focus on compliance, control, and commercial insight
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
Ensure regulatory reporting (IFRS17, SAM, etc.) is spot-on and submitted on time
Partner with executive leadership on strategic decisions and risk analysis
Manage audit processes and maintain robust internal controls
Drive efficiencies through automation and process improvements

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – essential
5+ years of post-articles experience, ideally in financial services or insurance
Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks (IFRS, SAM, Tax, etc.)
Strong leadership skills and a passion for mentoring finance teams
Strategic mindset with attention to detail
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
