POSITION INFO:
Our client, a multinational logistics giant, seeks a Financial Manager to take full ownership of financial operations, reporting, and strategic projects across their Durban operations hub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic decisions and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure integrity of balance sheets, cash flow, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee audits, tax submissions, and risk management processes
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Bcom Degree and CIMA (preferable) with 5+ years in logistics or supply chain finance
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams
- Advanced financial modelling and ERP experience
- Ability to drive strategy while staying hands-on in operations
