SUMMARY:
Our client, a vehicle dealership based in Southern Suburbs Cape Town, is seeking a Financial Manager to join their Finance team.

The Financial Manager is responsible for the full financial management, reporting, and control of the dealership’s operations. The role ensures compliance, profitability, and accurate financial decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations and month-end processes.
Prepare and present management accounts, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and dealership group accounting standards.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
Annual budget and quarterly forecast updates.
Accurate financial statements and compliance filings.
Performance and variance analysis for management review.
Bank recons
VAT returns
Controls
Management Accounts
Ensure accounts are accurate and closed timely
PAYE
Month end journals, debtors / creditors
Audit experience

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification
CA / CIMA
Understanding of dealership system (big advantage) – align with overseas software
Understanding of ways AI can enhance the processes (big advantage)
Analytical, strong attention to detail
Strong proficiency in Excel
Strong people and leadership skills to run and manage the team
