In a fast–moving industrial and production environment where pressure is a constant and precision is non-negotiable, we’re looking for a Financial Manager who thrives in the thick of operations - someone who isn’t intimidated by stock complexity, tough conversations, or rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
This organisation needs a strong, grounded FM with backbone, grit, and the technical skill to match. You’ll take the reins of a full financial function while partnering closely with operations to keep the business sharp, compliant, and financially fit. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full financial function with confidence and ownership
- Oversee stock management end-to-end - including reconciliations, valuation, controls, and investigations of discrepancies
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and commentary
- Strengthen internal controls across finance and operations
- Drive cost discipline, margin visibility, and continuous improvement
- Partner with operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Implement processes that support scale, efficiency, and business continuity
- Manage audits, compliance, and governance requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members
Job Experience and Skills Required:- BCom Degree (with completed articles being highly beneficial)
- 3+ years’ experience in a Financial Manager role
- Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or production environments
- Strong stock experience - this is a non-negotiable
- Confident personality with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive accountability
- Solid understanding of the full finance function (GL to FS)
- Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency
- High attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure
