SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Manager within a fast–paced industrial and production environment, where pressure is constant and precision is non-negotiable. This organisation requires a strong, grounded FM with backbone, grit, and the technical expertise to match.

POSITION INFO:
The role involves taking full ownership of the finance function while working closely with operations to keep the business sharp, compliant, and financially fit. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, confident leader who thrives in complex operational environments, understands stock deeply, and can bring structure, clarity, and control to a demanding production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full financial function with confidence and ownership.
Oversee end-to-end stock management, including reconciliations, valuation, controls, and investigating discrepancies.
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reporting packs, and insightful commentary.
Strengthen internal controls across finance and operations.
Drive cost discipline, margin visibility, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Implement scalable processes that support efficiency and business continuity.
Manage audits, compliance, and governance requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members.

Qualification and Skills Required:

BCom Degree (completed articles highly beneficial).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Financial Manager role.
Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or production environments.
Strong stock experience – non-negotiable.
Confident personality with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive accountability.
Solid understanding of the full finance function (GL to FS).
Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
