POSITION INFO:
A leading company within the manufacturing space is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and results-driven Financial Manager to join their team. Operating in a fast-paced and highly operational environment, this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of financial activities, lead a strong finance team, and contribute directly to strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions-driven, and passionate about driving financial discipline and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Duties:

Manage and control day-to-day financial activities across the organisation
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of 6, building a culture of accountability and excellence
Monitor and manage the cash flow to support operational and strategic requirements
Provide clear financial insights to support and influence senior management decisions
Collaborate closely with operational teams to improve cost management and drive financial performance
Assist with annual audit preparation and liaise with External Auditors
Implement and enhance financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls
Prepare accurate and timely management reports to support business performance reviews

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (essential)
Chartered Accountant qualification preferred
Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within the manufacturing sector
