POSITION INFO:

Our client operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with global reach. This role offers the chance to influence strategic decisions, oversee financial controls, and manage costing for thousands of SKUs in a complex production setting. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and play a key role in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and GAAP requirements.
Lead the annual budgeting process, including CAPEX, production costs, and fixed cost allocations.
Manage and optimize product costing structures across multiple assemblies and components.
Deliver accurate monthly management reports and group financial submissions.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and costing methodologies.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education: CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable).
Experience: Minimum 8 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
Strong background in costing and management accounting.
Expertise in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (JD Edwards or similar) advantageous.
Structured, process-driven approach with excellent communication and leadership skills.
