SUMMARY:
A reputable investment company in Pretoria is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee its finance function. The company specializes in investment management, portfolio advisory, and financial growth strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic investment decisions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities / Duties

Oversee the full finance function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance across investment portfolios.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team.
Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions and business strategy.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and relevant financial legislation.
Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Manage risk and ensure sound financial practices across all company operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance).
Professional qualification preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in investment, finance, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial management software, as well as MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
