Job & Company Description:
A reputable organisation within the renewable energy/engineering sector is seeking to appoint a seasoned Financial Manager to lead their finance function based in Johannesburg North.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the finance department within an innovative and fast-evolving environment.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a CA(SA) with 5+ years’ post-article experience who will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

The appointed individual will work closely with senior leadership, delivering accurate financial insights while maintaining strong financial controls and improving processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function, including reporting and compliance
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial statements
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements
Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes
Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
Provide strategic financial input to senior management

Job Experience & Qualifications:

CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
5+ years’ relevant finance experience
Proven experience managing the full finance function
Strong financial reporting and compliance experience
Exposure to renewable energy or the engineering industry is advantageous
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
