The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full finance function, managing a finance team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual who enjoys improving processes, supporting business strategy, and leading a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the full finance function and monthly reporting process
Lead and mentor a finance team consisting of 2 direct and 3 indirect reports
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and statutory requirements
Oversee cash flow management and financial planning activities
Drive process improvements and support strategic business initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Honours degree in Finance or Accounting
SAIPA qualification is essential
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Financial Manager or similar role
Experience within the financial services industry is essential
Proven leadership and team management experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong financial reporting and analytical abilities
