POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Cost Accountants and Finance Professionals Oversee all cost accounting, inventory, and operational finance functions Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes Analyse production costs, margins, and operational performance across mining operations Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and operational leaders Oversee inventory valuation, stock controls, WIP reporting, and variance analysis Ensure accuracy of management accounts and monthly financial reporting Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies Partner with production, engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams Ensure compliance with financial controls, governance requirements, and audit standards Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, Finance CIMA qualification preferred CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification advantageous Experience: 5-8 years' experience in finance, costing, or operational finance Minimum 3 years' management experience Mining, mining equipment, engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sector experience essential Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong ERP systems experience Exceptional costing, budgeting, and financial modelling capabilities Strong commercial and operational finance acumen Apply now!
