SUMMARY:
A reputable healthcare organisation is seeking a Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function and contribute to the ongoing success of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, providing strategic financial insights, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing day-to-day financial management with long-term business objectives.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Manage the full financial function of the healthcare facility. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports. Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and liquidity planning. Manage debtors and creditors, ensuring effective collections and supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, payroll, and statutory requirements. Oversee supplier payments and identify cost-saving opportunities. Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes. Assist with audits, annual financial statements, and internal controls. Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management. Monitor revenue, departmental performance, and profitability. Track debtor ageing, collections, and key financial performance metrics. Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls. Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Partner with management to improve business performance and efficiency. Skills & Experience: 5-10 years' relevant finance experience. Experience within healthcare, hospitals, medical billing, or a related environment is advantageous. Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities. Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools. Strong commercial acumen and operational finance experience. Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable business insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
