A well-known concern in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the financial department as well as identifying, tracking, reporting, and managing key business drivers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for compiling annual operational budgets as well full tax management, compiling of annual AFS in line with IFRS and ensuring sound corporate governance. The role is 30% strategic and 70% operational and technical.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 2 years’ post article experience
Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
Experience with Syspro is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Strong accounting knowledge
