POSITION INFO:

Overseeing the Bookkeeper’s tasks

Debtors and Creditors Control with processing of all accounting entries in Quick Books

Monitor bank balances

Plan and document short-term cash flow needs

Facilitate overseas purchases and payments and keep track of goods until delivery to warehouse

Stock control

Report back to Managing Director on status of open items (bank accounts changes/applications,stock orders, cash flow, SARS applications/queries)

Prepare monthly management pack for submission to Managing Director for final review

Review supplier processing and scheduling of payments

Compile and gather documentation for audits

Month-end packs

Control and maintenance of fixed asset schedules

Budgeting

Management Packs

Payroll for 100 – 150 staff (Monthly and Weekly Staff)

Compile Returns

Process payments for Statutory Payroll deductions, i.e. PAYE, UIF, SDL

Maintaining and facilitating time and attendance system

UIF Declarations submissions

Employment Equity submission

Skills Development submission

Qualification:

BCom Degree non-negotiable

CIMA (advantageous)
