Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Swartkops requires a Financial Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• B Comm Accounting/B Tech/Diploma Acc
• 5 years'' experience as a Financial Manager/Assistant Financial Manager

Duties:

• Develop and implement and ensure all financial controls for the organisation are in place and adequate.
• Produce monthly Management Accounts.
• Produce monthly statistical reports as required by the organisation. 
• Produce monthly sales/stock reports.
• Manage daily cash flow.
• Manage Bulk Cash payments.
• Process payments. Load and release transfers.
• Responsible for financial modelling including budgets, forecasts and recommendation of asset purchasing decisions.
• Development of statistical dashboard.
• Produce draft Annual Financial Statements for auditors.
• Calculation of all tax.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns on behalf of the organisation i.e. VAT, SARS, and Royalty to ensure maximum compliance. 
• Produce journals.
• Carry out analysis of all financial information. 
• Perform the role of business analyst as required.
• Oversee IT management in conjunction with external service providers. 
• Oversee salary and wages function
• Oversee Stores and procurement functions
• Stock control of all spares, materials and fuel
  
• Oversee debtors and creditors
• Regulatory compliance e.g., carbon tax, GHGE, sustainability portal etc. 
• Ensure Department is fully staffed with appropriately experienced employees.
• Ensure staff are trained and developed.
• Ensure performance appraisals are conducted as per Company Policy. 
• Ensure general discipline in the area of responsibility.
• Adhere to all HR policies, procedures and requirements to ensure sound people practices
