SUMMARY:
Multi-national concern has an opportunity for a suitably qualified CA(SA) candidate with previous experience in a Financial Management role. Strong on streamlining processes and automating systems.

POSITION INFO:

The role will suit a highly analytical candidate with experience in a similar role, as well as having implemented process automations and a proven track record of adaptability

Leadership role to analyse and present data related to the financial status of the company

Use your specialised experience working with business budgets to ensure the company is growing and meeting its goals

Make recommendations to improve profitability throughout the company

Provide support to subsidiaries

Responsible for the financial reporting of some subsidiaries

Ensure that monthly financial results are produced on time

Ensure compliance with (IFRS) as well as good Corporate Governance

Participate in keeping operational management aware of the financial state of the operations

Implement a high standard of internal controls within the subsidiaries to protect company assets and ensure compliance with audit requirements

Oversee the Group treasury function including management of foreign exchange

Responsible for automating and improving processes within the Finance department

Prepare and submit annual income tax returns

Actively participate in completion of statutory audits at year end

Responsible for the completion of the annual financial statements

Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process

Assist with applications and reporting to South African Reserve Bank on Foreign Direct Investments

Ensure compliance with the relevant countries company law, taxation law, accounting standards and the Central Bank requirements

CA(SA) qualification essential

Advanced PC skills as well as advanced MS Excel

Experience in data analytics with ODBC/SQL advantageous

Minimum of 5 years commercial experience
