One of the largest precious metals producers that has focused on the industry for over 50 years is seeking a Financial Manager to join and lead their excellent financial department. This company is also part of a JSE listed organization. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth experience within the mining sector and possess strong leadership experience and strategic involvement within an organization. The successful incumbent will be involved in all aspects operationally as well as technically. As this is a very strategic role within the organization, business requires an individual who is able to deliver timeously as well as above par quality.
This role is based in the Northern Cape close to Khatu
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes.
- Ensuring the Financial Statements is compliant to IFRS Standard
- Implement and improve internal controls
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Managing the Accounts payable, Receivable and Accounting function
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Job Experience & Skills Required:
CA(SA)
Ten Years post article experience
Mining Tax knowledge is a prerequisite
Experience within the mining industryf
