SUMMARY:
Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:
The Financial Manager’s responsibility is to ensure that the integrity and quality of financial information and systems are of such that it presents timeous, effective and informative contributions to the decision making processes within the company, complying with the high standards as set out by the company requirements. The Financial Manager is also responsible for the management of the complete financial cycle.

Proficient in the MS suite

Financial Management:
Maintenance internal controls to ensure compliance with financial and SARS legislation. Maintains the financial information systems. Prepares financial statements, compile monthly financial reports and oversee the monthly financial overviews for management reporting. Responsible for Bank KYC reviews, renewal facilities and all bank related requirements. Manages CIPC submissions. Oversee PAYE & VAT reconciliations. Performs insurable debtor''s submissions for insurance purposes. Oversees the renewal and maintenance of the rental fleet vehicles.

Audit Function
Oversees the internal and external finance audit, BBBEE audit and software audit.

BBBEE
Authorise and maintain the BBBEE credited suppliers database, Perform BBBEE reconciliations other BBBEE related requirements. Oversee the annual BBBEE audit

Payroll Finance
Prepare sales teams commission reports for payroll. Oversees the payroll journals. Oversees the submission COIDA annual returns. Oversee the processing of the EMP, PAYE, IT88, UIF, SDL and SARS payments. Oversees the payroll audit in conjunction with Human Resources.

Financial Analysis, Reporting and Consolidation of Management Accounts
Oversee Cash management , weekly cash payments and loan submissions. Oversees the Sales, Debtors, Creditors, Bank Stock, Fixed assists and petty cash reconciliations. Authorise supplier and cash payments. Oversee and authorise journals. Processes any monthly adjustments for reporting purposes.

Staff Management
Oversees the creditors department and function. Lead direct, motivate and develop the team so that the team members are adequately equipped to perform their responsibilities. Set objectives for the team, monitor, assess & evaluate achievement of objectives and provide ongoing feedback. Implement development programs and ensure team members are developed to perform at maximum potential.

Financial Reporting
Prepare quarterly packs for group reporting purposes including the group consolidation and group financial statements. Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, Prepare financial statements for each of the companies in the company group.
