A reputable concern in the retail space is looking for a Financial Manager with operational experience to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting on the operations within finance as well as managing a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying breakdown in controls, signing off on expenses and providing finance and operational support on store acquisitions, store closures and bank charges. This role is more an operational finance role with less reporting and more operational exposure. The role will report to the Head of Finance.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3-4 years’ post article experience.
• Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
• Willing to work over time and weekends when needed.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strong business acumen
• Working experience in a similar role
