SUMMARY:
My client, a global multi-cultural business who are about entertainment (largely in the sporting sphere) deliver product digitally (online and mobile) and TTL. Their expertise lies in marketing, customer service and technology- your expertise needs to lie in the Financial arena. They are looking for an experienced Financial Manager who understands the gravitas of the role and who will ensure that all transactions, reconciliations, and reporting are accounted for accurately, completely and reported on timeously. The role requires the candidate to be highly numerate, well organised and deadline driven.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include:

Monthly management reports
Review of monthly management accounts including income statement and variance analysis, balance sheet and related reconciliations
Review all Trial balances to ensure completeness of the accounts. Prepare the Monthly reconciliation of accounting data to Group Reports.
Ensure all standardisation of reporting and schedules across all entities.
Provide summaries of all highlights to the Senior Finance Manager for income statement, balance sheet and open items.

Corporate Governance:
Board reporting and minutes
Audits
Tax management and compliance
Regulatory requirements
Transfer pricing governance
Contracts management

Funds and Assets Management:
Forecasts and going concern
Cash flow
Ensure timeous supplier and intergroup payments

CAPEX
ERP
Ensure that Navision, TM1 and other systems operate effectively and efficiently for responsible companies.
Liaise with BI to ensure that the transactional data received is relevant, accurate, complete and received on time.

Policies and procedures

B Com (Accounting) with completed Articles , CA(SA), CIMA or equivalent
Accounting review experience.
Minimum 5 years managerial experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Knowledge of IFRS.
Experience in Navision.
Experience in reviewing AFS.

Self-motivated and highly productive with high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
