SUMMARY:
My client in the construction industry is seeking a Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

AGA (SA) or BCom + completed Articles
Construction Industry experience
Quickbooks
10 Years post Articles experience

Role:

Accounting, payroll, taxation, cost accounting, financial data analysis and report design, managing of full financial department and ad hoc assignments:

Essential functions
o Project and job costing for construction sites
o Manage and oversee Costing, Creditors, Payroll and Subcontractors departments
o Approval of payments for Creditors, Subcontractors and Payroll departments
o Setting up financial systems in the various departments for greater financial efficiency and control
o Plan and coordinate the BBBEE verification
o Design and implement reports and systems
o Manage the group audit and preparation of the financial statements for the annual audit of all 5 main group operational companies
o Oversee the accurate and timely submission of all VAT and PAYE returns
o Ensure that the accounting records are compiled in accordance with all the applicable IFRS standards
o Provide assistance and training to all staff on accounting, tax, Excel and system requirements
