A JSE listed entity in the FMCG and logistics industry is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team!

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for preparing the consolidated management accounts monthly as well as balance sheet reconciliations. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for managing the year end budget process and year end audit process. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and the annual and quarterly forecasts.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting
Completed CIMA

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in the FMCG/manufacturing/logistics industries is preferred
Working knowledge of Sage X3 is preferred
Experience with attending stock takes and familiar with all policies relating to stock takes
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to lead and grow an effective team
Proven record of assisting with new systems/processes
Significant reporting experience
