A reputable concern in the services space is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the financial and accounting information and risk assessments of the organization are managed and controlled whilst complying with legislation and company policies. The Financial Manager will be responsible for designing and reviewing cashbook processes, accounts payable processes, petty cash control processes and general ledger reconciliation. The successful incumbent will also be responsible for reviewing tax calculations, VAT, and annual financial statements.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 4-5 years’ post article experience as a Financial Manager
At least 3 years’ experience with people management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline driven
Working knowledge of tax legislation and BBBEE legislation
Strong technical accounting skills
