Are you an immediately available CA (SA) with post article experience and looking to get some commercial experience? If yes, then this role as a Financial Manager at a reputable healthcare concern is just for you. This is a fixed term 6-month contract.
JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The Financial Manager will be responsible for the overall financial management of the business which includes processing, administration and management of all balance sheet accounts such as debtors, creditors, cash and cash equivalents, loan accounts and statutory balances. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for administration relating to tax matters as well as financial planning and financial reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and monitoring internal controls and initiating changes as required.
EDUCATION
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- CA (SA)
- Articles completed at a Big 4 audit firm is preferred
JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- At least 1 year post article experience in the commercial market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in governance and control is preferred
- Understanding of project management principles
- Up to date, detailed knowledge of IFRS
