SUMMARY:
One of Datacentrix client based in Midrand is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team. The candidates should have exposure and experience in foreign currency accounting must be a CA(SA) and at least 3 years’ experience as an Accountant in a client-facing role

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly Trial Balances for Axiz International Services;
- Prepare board pack reports for division;
- Prepare activity reports and financial forecasts;
- Review income and expenses on a monthly basis;
- Daily interactions with operational, sales, accounts payable and accounts receivable teams;
- Investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities;
- Revenue recognition and accounting on service contracts;
- Reconciliation of agency accounts in six African countries

- Accounting and co-ordination between operational teams to account for different revenue streams;
- Prepare relevant balance sheet recons & income statement;
- Review and reconcile supplier accounts;
- Debtor management, focusing on collecting debts on time;
- Cash flow management;
- Constant monitoring and improvement of processes;
- Prepare monthly independent contractor and agency payment files
- Liaise with Auditors and prepare audit file with deliverables.

Education and Experience:

- CA(SA) and at least 3 years’ experience as an Accountant in a client-facing role
- Experience on Services Accounting preferred and exposure to project type work
- Exposure and experience to foreign currency accounting & Africa

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
- Financial Control Management and experience & Stakeholder Relationship Management
