SUMMARY:
Our client operates in the mineral processing sector is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant with a solid understanding of cost accounting.

POSITION INFO:

An individual that can hold their own when dealing with superiors, customers and suppliers. There is scope for promotion to FD over time.

Educational, Skills and Experience

BCom Accounting or related 3-year degree
Preferably a CIMA qualification
Min of 5 years relevant experience in a related role within the manufacturing environment
Strong on developing cash flow projections and managing cash flows

Key Result Areas:

Manage the financial functions and instruments of the business, up to final submission to the auditor for AFS
Managing the process for financial forecasting and budgets
Oversee management accounts reports and reporting
Conduct monthly forecast reviews
Strong on developing cash flow projections and managing cash flows
Manage business liquidity and working capital
Assist with the raising of finance from Banks for expansion
Evaluate Return on Investment (Capex) and make suitable recommendations
Protect company assets (working capital & fixed assets)
Monitor, assess and manage financial risks
Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
