POSITION INFO:

We have an opportunity for a Financial Manager in VEREENIGING. Looking for a vivacious, robust and energetic individual in this demanding role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the overall smooth operation of the Finance Department;
Responsible to support the Group Financial Manager where needed;
Responsible to support the factories where necessary;
Run the costing runs per factory in the middle of the month and emailed the results and logs to the factory managers for feedback;
Do final costing runs on the last day of the month;
Extend the prices of the A-grade to the other grades early on the 1^stof each month.
Update of month-end standard journals if needed;
Review the Management Accounts prepared by Accountants on a monthly basis;
Email Management Accounts to factories;
Interim and final year-end journals;
Check all monthly reconciliations prepared by Finance Department;
Monthly calendar planning;
Authorisation of Support Centre purchase Orders;
Responsible for the Quarterly pack completion with the Accountants;
Prepare interim and final year-end planning;
Stock count instructions and allocation of Support Centre per stock count location;
Prepare interim and year-end files;
Urgent payment dates planning;
Consolidate the final budgets for approval at Board meeting;
Check the SAP reports after the upload on SAP against the Excel spreadsheets;
Responsible to organise all the stock counts for interim and final year-end;
Responsible to send pre-stock count listings to Auditors;
Responsible to reconcile the stock counts with the final stock listing per SAP;
Responsible to prepare the Inventory section for year-end;
Responsible for the Consolidation of the Group of Companies with the Group Financial Manager;
Responsible for the Annual Financial Statements of all companies of the Group with the Accountants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

SAP experience will be an advantage
BCom Degree
Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Own transport
