POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

An industry leader within South Africa that forms part of a large conglomerate that is listed on the JSE is currently looking for an Exceptional Financial Manager to join their organisation, This opportunity is based on the plant and as a result the successful candidate will report to the General Manager. The successful candidate must possess experience within a production environment (liaising with production staff, involved with setting up the production plan). As the Financial Manager of the plant you will be responsible for full finance function and ensuring that the plant is compliant.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual that is looking for an opportunity where Finance is not just a back-office function but is directly involved in ensuring the business is successful.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Plan, organize, and coordinate adherence to all financial procedures and programs aimed at optimizing mill profitability
Preparation of Mill’s Budget
Budgets, forecast, month end reporting & product costing
Internal and External audits
Constant communication with the production managers

Job Experience & Skills Required:

CA(SA)

Production Environment industry experience required

Five years post article experience
