SUMMARY:
The world’s largest producer of starch, glucose and related products is looking for a seasoned finance professional to join their team as a Financial Manager. The Financial will develop tactical plans and manage operational outputs as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, business growth, profitability, and logistics.

The world’s largest producer of starch, glucose and related products is looking for a seasoned finance professional to join their team as a Financial Manager. The Financial will develop tactical plans and manage operational outputs as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, business growth, profitability, and logistics.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for analyzing plans and modules and ensuring adherence to legislation and set governance and compliance policies and procedures. The Financial Manager will be responsible for ensuring functional integration of internal processes and budgeting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team and dealing with the budgets and forecasts. This is a very operational role.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA(SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 5 years’ post article experience in a similar role
• At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
• Experience managing a team
• Sound experience/broad understanding of finance and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Bill of Materials
