Reports to: CFO

Job Description:

Produce and use financial and support information to inform, monitor and give input to operational activities to meet business objectives across entities.

Individual Outputs:

Produce management accounts.
Provide business partner support and advice during annual budget process and ongoing during FY
Cash flow managed
Finalises financial statements
Provide advice and guidance.
- Assist the management team in understanding the insight provided by financial data and information and to use the information meaningfully.
- Stay abreast of regulation and compliance changes and informs and implements changes into certain processes.
- Ensures data policies and data retention policies are adhered to.
- Provide input into process improvement and development.
Optimise foreign country transactions
- Gives input into pre-empting exchange rate movements through timely interventions
- Optimizes purchases and sales and cash flow through forex transactions
- Mitigate risks of loses and high fees
- Forex review report
- Management accounts

Accountable for work of others:

Ongoing review and monitoring of work performed
- Due diligence checks performed on new suppliers and customers with payment assurances and credit insurance obtained

Management and leadership outputs:

Management and control of processes, standards, information and systems

Consistently applied operational and company policies, processes and procedures across area of responsibility.
- Is aware of all operational, governance, ISO and HR policies
Performance management
Provides direction and direct reports
Staff resource (capacity) management and planning (day to day management)
