SUMMARY:
A position has become available for a Financial Manager in the Manufacturing industry, in Kempton Park area.

POSITION INFO:

The Purpose of the position is to:

Manage the Finance and Administration Department within the Business Unit
As a key member of the senior management team, provides financial input and support to Business Unit General Manager
Ensure accurate and timeous reporting of monthly, as well as annual, financial results
Develop, review and implement financial policies, systems, procedures and internal controls throughout the Business Unit
Accurately forecast orders, sales, costs and cash resources on a regular basis
Drive the annual budgeting process within the Business Unit to produce a realistic and accurate annual budget
Safeguarding and control over company assets in accordance with Company policies and good accounting principles
Identify and report on contractual risks through regular participation in contractual reviews
Administration of legal matters with the assistance of the Divisional Financial Executive
Continuous development of the Finance and Administration personnel

Minimum Qualifications

BCom (Hons) in Accounting or Financial Management
CA(SA) Desirable

Experience

5 years’ experience in a senior management role in the same or similar industry (manufacturing, engineering)
8 years’ experience in Financial Management
Syspro or equivalent ERP System
MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Advanced Admin principles
Basic HR principles
In depth knowledge of financial reporting, management and controls
Planning skills
