Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
A position has become available for a Financial Manager in the Manufacturing industry, in Kempton Park area.

POSITION INFO:

The Purpose of the position is to:

• Manage the Finance and Administration Department within the Business Unit
• As a key member of the senior management team, provides financial input and support to Business Unit General Manager
• Ensure accurate and timeous reporting of monthly, as well as annual, financial results
• Develop, review and implement financial policies, systems, procedures and internal controls throughout the Business Unit
• Accurately forecast orders, sales, costs and cash resources on a regular basis
• Drive the annual budgeting process within the Business Unit to produce a realistic and accurate annual budget
• Safeguarding and control over company assets in accordance with Company policies and good accounting principles
• Identify and report on contractual risks through regular participation in contractual reviews
• Administration of legal matters with the assistance of the Divisional Financial Executive
• Continuous development of the Finance and Administration personnel

 Minimum Qualifications

• BCom (Hons) in Accounting or Financial Management
• CA(SA) Desirable

Experience

• 5 years’ experience in a senior management role in the same or similar industry (manufacturing, engineering)
• 8 years’ experience in Financial Management
• Syspro or equivalent ERP System
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Advanced Admin principles
• Basic HR principles
• In depth knowledge of financial reporting, management and controls
• Planning skills
