One of the countryÃ¢Â€Â™s largest suppliers of electrical and related products is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join their finance team. The role will report directly to the CFO.

One of the country’s largest suppliers of electrical and related products is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join their finance team. The role will report directly to the CFO.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for developing the financial well-being of the group by providing the full spectrum of financial services, preparing, reviewing, and interpreting of monthly management accounts. The Financial Manager will be responsible for analyzing operations, cost reduction, system enhancements and preparing consolidated reconciliations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing any relevant IFRS and providing ongoing support and guidance to the regional financial teams. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Thorough knowledge of IFRS
Working knowledge of cost control, financial analysis, accounting principles, practices and standard laws
Sound understanding of statutory requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound business acumen
