SUMMARY:
Our client in based in Sandton are in the facility management sector are looking for an experienced Financial Manager with minimum of 5 years experience to start as soon as possible.

POSITION INFO:
Experience required:

Managing Staff
Maintaining Company financial records & financial information
Preparation of financial statements and assisting auditors with annual audit of financial records
Maintaining general ledger – reviewing monthly to ensure correct allocation
Reviewing supplier accounts and ensuring they are reconciled monthly and differences investigated.
Preparing of monthly Management Accounts
Maintaining of the company fixed asset register – Providing for monthly depreciation of assets. Raising additions and disposals of assets
Ensuring compliance with all Statutory Regulations ie SARS etc..
Preparing of company budget
Preparing of departmental budgets
Preparing of cost centers per department
Maintaining company Cash Flow spreadsheet and updating weekly
Maintaining financial dashboard
Approving of new suppliers and credit applications
Reviewing of supplier recons with statements
Monthly reconciliation of payroll, Control accounts for Salaries, Wages, SARS, Provident Fund, Staff Loans etc..
Managing Debtors and Creditors
Confident in their ability to work alone
Strong accounting / bookkeeping skills
Experience in processing monthly payroll (500+ employees)

Education and experience required:

BCOM in finance, accounting, or Bcom Accounts III or similar (minimum)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Manager

Competencies:

Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
Experience with the cleaning industry will be advantageous
Problem solving skills
Good command of English both oral and written
Interpersonal skills
Mathematical proficiency
Attention to detail is imperative
