SUMMARY:
Electrical wholesaler based on the East Rand has an opportunity for a Financial Manager. CA(SA) qualification is essential.

POSITION INFO:
The main function of this position is to be responsible for the planning, implementation and managing of all the financial activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
Some key functions in the role would include:
Review and interpret monthly management accounts
Analyzing operations and identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and systems management
Reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities
Assist with strategic planning and analysis
Evaluating trends and determining productivity
Review regional reconciliations
Prepare consolidated reconciliations
Review Head Office and operational GL recons
Compile and consolidate annual budgets
Support project analysis, validation of plans and ad-hoc requests by CFO

CA(SA) qualification essential
Min. 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
Strong IFRS knowledge and compliance as well as proven knowledge of cost control, financial analysis, accounting principles and regulations and compliance as well as financial models
