SUMMARY:
A market leader in the construction and engineering sector is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Financial Manager. The ideal candidate must have consolidations experience.

POSITION INFO:

A market leader in the construction and engineering sector is currently in the market for a qualified Chartered Accountant to take up a role as a Financial Manager. The ideal candidate must have consolidations experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

CA(SA)
6-8 Years’ experience
Mining, Construction or Engineering industry experience
Consolidation’s experience
In depth knowledge of IFRS
JDE and Hyperion ERP (beneficial)
Staff Management
Sound experience in Tax and relevant legislation

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing divisional reporting formats and requirements
Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing, reviewing, and submitting monthly and quarterly financial consolidated reports
Financial Management
Managing the annual budget process
Preparation of interim and year-end annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
