A leading manufacturer of water and housing products is looking for a seasoned CA (SA) to join their team as a Financial Manager.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for accounting and reporting, preparing financial statements, internal financial reporting, and financial analysis. The Financial Manager will be responsible for processes and controls, managing the audit process and supporting the budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying variances and areas for improvement, annual and monthly statutory returns, preparing the annual budgets including the balance sheets and cash flows and identifying areas of accounting non-conformance and implement corrective actions.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role reporting to a CFO
At least 3 years’ experience in leading a team
Sound IFRS knowledge and consolidation reporting experience
Experience working in a multi-regional organization is preferred
Sound knowledge and experience of transfer pricing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent understanding and application of the appropriate tax planning
Extensive experience required to provide enhanced analysis and commentary
